PT.PHILLIPS SEAFOODS INDONESIA are one of the largest export oriented food manufacturers in Asia, currently looking for a talented, motivated and dynamic person to be part of our team for the position of:

GENERAL MANAGER

This person must possess the following :

- Expatriate, willing to locate in Lampung, Indonesia
- Experience – Minimum 3 years experience as a General Manager of a food processing company preferably engaged in pasteurized crabmeat production, value-added products, shrimp and fish processing, experiences in production and quality management; experience in multinational companies in food manufacturing and relevant R&D functional exposure or experience in managing an R&D will be an advantage;
- Educational requirements – Bachelor’s Degree in food technology will be an advantage. MBA will be a plus but not necessarily a requirement; will prefer those who are college graduates of top schools, either in food tech or management; high scholastic ratings will be an advantage;
- Management skills – able to read and interpret financial statements; familiar with balance sheets, income statements, statement of costs to manufacture products; and high level of cost accounting knowledge on food manufacturing; exposure to highly labor intensive production management is a big plus or a demonstrated ability to manage and train a large work force;
- Awards and Certifications Received – awards from management for exemplary performance and certifications from independent bodies on knowledge and skills acquired will be a plus;
- Language skills – excellent command of written and spoken English, good command of spoken and written Indonesian Bahasa will be an advantage;
- Personal Traits – honest, ambitious, flexible but strict on quality systems, team player, good communicator, willing to impart knowledge and train subordinates. We would want to bring in somebody who can bring in fresh, innovative ideas and initiate change; but is open-minded to accept other persons’ views.
